The first time we held this carved carnelian cylinder from Afghanistan, the room went quiet — not because of its size, but because of what it carries. A human figure in low relief, carved with the kind of precision that only exists when someone believed completely that what they were making would last. And it did. We spent months finding carnelian beads from India whose inner fire truly answered its call — burnt orange deepening to garnet, natural veining that catches light like an ember. Threaded together with gold micron spacers echoing the Silk Road these stones once traveled.

Every bead has a life we did not give it. We are simply the ones who brought them home.

“Agni Mani Rakta” from Sanskrit: Agni (อัคนี) sacred fire, Mani (มณี) precious stone, Rakta (รักต์) deep red — a jewel of sacred fire, glowing like an ember that refuses to go out.
