It began the moment we saw this hand-carved Pi Xiu, cut from genuine stone with a face that felt charming and modern rather than fearsome. We loved how it softened a fierce guardian for today’s wearer while keeping every ounce of its meaning intact. But what truly stopped us was the stone itself: Kyanite Van Gogh, its swirling blues and greens shimmering across the surface like brushstrokes lifted straight from a painted canvas, echoing the famous Starry Night of the great master. From there our real work began, searching for beads of the same size, the same depth of grain, the same living color so the whole bracelet would flow as one unbroken night sky. Matching tone to tone is never easy, and only through a trusted Chinese friend did we finally gather Kyanite Van Gogh in this exact shade.
