Inspiration

It began with a single hand-carved Pixiu, cut from genuine stone, charming and modern rather than fearsome, a classic guardian distilled for today with all its old meaning intact. Searching for a stone to match its spirit, we found Rainbow Fluorite the colour of a rainbow drifting over a field of lavender, its real veining shifting through violet, green and blue. The hard part came next, finding more in the same size, texture and tone so the bracelet would flow as one. Through a trusted Chinese friend we found stones in exactly that hue, a match far harder to collect than it looks. “Siri” (Pali for glory and auspicious fortune), “Vajra” (Sanskrit for the indestructible thunderbolt), “Saptaranga” (Sanskrit for the seven colours of the rainbow).

เริ่มจากปี่เซียะแกะสลักจากหินแท้ชิ้นเดียวที่เราวางไม่ลง น่ารักและทันสมัย ไม่ได้ดูน่ากลัว เป็นองค์พิทักษ์ดั้งเดิมที่ตัดทอนให้เข้ากับยุคนี้ แต่ยังคงความหมายอันขลังไว้ครบ จากนั้นเราตามหาหินที่ถ่ายทอดจิตวิญญาณเดียวกัน จนพบฟลูออไรต์สายรุ้ง (Rainbow Fluorite) สีเหมือนสายรุ้งทอดผ่านกลางทุ่งดอกลาเวนเดอร์ ลายเนื้อหินจริงไล่เฉดม่วง เขียว น้ำเงิน งานที่ยากคือขั้นต่อไป การเสาะหาหินขนาด เนื้อ และโทนสีใกล้เคียงกัน เพื่อให้กำไลทั้งเส้นไหลต่อเนื่องเป็นหนึ่งเดียว จากเพื่อนชาวจีนที่ไว้วางใจ เราจึงได้พบหินที่สีตรงกันพอดี ถึงจะดูเข้ากันง่าย แต่การสะสมให้สีพอดีกันขนาดนี้ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายเลย “สิริ” (บาลี หมายถึง ความรุ่งโรจน์และความเป็นสิริมงคล) “วัชระ” (สันสกฤต หมายถึง สายฟ้าที่ไม่อาจทำลายได้) “สัปตรังค์” (สันสกฤต หมายถึง เจ็ดสีแห่งสายรุ้ง)
