Inspiration
It began with a single carving we could not put down. This Pixiu, hand-carved from genuine pink-beige Sunstone, won us over not for being fearsome but for being charming and modern, its natural grain still running through the stone. We then searched for beads of the same warm gradient to flow beside it without a break, sourced through a Chinese friend, matching tone to tone until it was right. “Surya” from Sanskrit means the sun, and “Rashmi” a ray of light, together the radiant beam a sunlit guardian casts over all it watches.

🦁 Hand-Carved Pixiu in Sunstone (Carved Sunstone Bead) — The soul of this piece, natural grain intact. Pixiu swallows wealth and never releases it. Stroke head to tail to activate, keep it personal, never let others touch it.

ทุกอย่างเริ่มจากปี่เซียะแกะสลักชิ้นเดียวที่เราวางไม่ลง องค์นี้แกะจากซันสโตน (Sunstone) แท้ สีชมพูเบจ ทำให้เราหลงทันที ไม่ใช่เพราะดูน่ากลัว แต่เพราะน่ารักและทันสมัย ลายเนื้อหินจริงยังเดินผ่านองค์อย่างชัดเจน จากนั้นเราเสาะหาเม็ดหินโทนอุ่นไล่เฉดเดียวกันให้ไหลต่อเนื่องโดยไม่สะดุด จากเพื่อนชาวจีน การสะสมให้สีต่อกันพอดีไม่ง่ายเลย เราจึงค้นหาต่อจนได้สีที่ลงตัว “สุริยะ” (Surya) หมายถึง ดวงอาทิตย์ และ “รัศมิ์” (Rashmi) หมายถึง ลำแสง รวมกันคือลำแสงเรืองรองที่องค์พิทักษ์แห่งตะวันทอประกายปกป้องทุกสิ่งที่เฝ้ามอง
